the Crowd Design ProjecT is back
Have you ever wanted to be more than just part of the NIKIN community and actively shape NIKIN? Last year, we gave Dominique just that opportunity. She was able to win the first crowd design contest with her TreeCompass shirt. Now it's your turn! Once again, we need your keen eye, your creative streak and your design. This time there are two new categories: the best design in the adult category (18 years and older) and the best design in the children category (up to 8 years).
A community vote will decide which of the 20 best designs in each category will win. With this you have the chance to be represented with your individual design on our TreeShirt, because we sell it in our store and you can win among other things a nice prize money.
What you have to do for it, you will learn in the video tutorial.
THE PRIZE
YOU CAN WIN:
With your design you can help to actively shape NIKIN. If your design wins the community voting, an attractive prize awaits you as the winner:
- As the winner of the crowd design project, you will receive prize money of 2000.- CHF for your winning design. (Children 1000.- CHF)
- You will also receive a NIKIN voucher worth 200.- CHF, which you can use to order a copy of your TreeShirt for yourself and your loved ones.
- Your design will not only be realized and produced by the NIKIN team, but of course also sold in our store - along with all other products.
- So that everyone knows whose design is on the new TreeShirt, each TreeShirt will be labeled with your signature.
- In the photo and video portrait, you as the winner can introduce not only yourself, but above all your design and tell the story behind it. (For children: Parents of the winner may decide if a photo and video portrait is desired).
- And so that not only we, but also everyone else can admire your winning design, the design and portrait will be shared on all our social media channels.

Create your design
Whether with design programs or as a sketch by hand, we set (almost) no limits to your creativity.

Upload your design
You can upload your finished design as JPEG or PDF via the submission form below until Sunday, April 25th. Only one submission per person can be considered.
3.
Mobilize your friends for voting
The top 20 designs of both categories will be put into the community voting and the best design will be chosen.
THE TEMPLATES
LOGOS AND TEMPLATES
In order for your design to be realized and produced by us, there are a few guidelines you should follow. The style and cut of NIKIN is known to be rather minimalistic. But that doesn't mean that your design has to be the same. Let your creativity run free and impress us with your idea!
Mockup (shirt template)
Your design will be produced on the basis of our already existing TreeShirts. The template for the Crowd Design TreeShirt in the adult category is the TreeShirt Basic in Unisex and Women. The one for kids is our TreeShirt Kids. The area you can use for your design is marked on the shirt template.

NIKIN Elements & Logos
Your design should have something to do with NIKIN and can for example include existing NIKIN elements such as the logo, a tree, a forest, a shovel, etc. You can incorporate these elements into your design or simply take inspiration from them.

Colors of the shirts
Your design can be printed or embroidered on our seven existing TreeShirt Basic Bestseller colors in black or white (no grayscale) as well as multicolored (max. 4 colors and no gradients). The maximum size per embroidery is 10x10cm and you are completely free with the positioning of the design, as long as it is in the area of the marking of the TreeShirt.
