The 3-layer Sympatex® membrane incorporated in our TreeJacket Rain has been optimized so that your body's water vapour can escape to the outside, but no (rain)water penetrates from the outside to the inside.

How does this work? The outside is made of hydrophobic (water-repellent) polyester, which keeps rain away from you. The inside, on the other hand, is made of hydrophilic (water-attracting) polyester. This ensures that your body's water vapor molecules can escape to the outside and no annoying condensation forms.

Our membrane works dynamically and adapts perfectly to the conditions. At the same time, it does not allow water or wind to penetrate from the outside and protects the body from all weather conditions.

Thanks to the processing of this combination polyester, the TreeJacket Rain has a unique pore structure, which expands with increasing activity and thusincreases the breathability even further next .

With this innovative membrane, Sympatex® not only relies on simple physical principles, but also uses chemical processes to our advantage.
