Together for Nature. Tree by Tree.

From every NIKIN sale, a portion goes to tree planting programs around the world. A single tree doesn't change the world overnight, but little by little, we as a community are making the earth a greener place. But the quest for greater sustainability doesn't stop there for us. We always act in an innovative, open-minded, sustainable and fair way: In production, in the choice of materials, in external and internal sales processes, as an employer, and as part of society. Transparency towards our community is important to us. That's why here you can find information about our philosophy and its concrete implementation.

The NIKIN Community

We are a brand for nature lovers who plant trees and protect nature together with us. We organize clean ups, TreePlantingDays, flea markets and many other great events. Because nature needs us all! 

Treeplanting

For every product sold, we plant one Tree. Together with our partner organization One Tree Planted, we are reforesting forests around the world that are threatened by deforestation, natural disasters or disease. Because trees are incredible living creatures: They produce oxygen, store CO2, protect against flooding and land slides, and provide habitat and food for an extremely large number of animals and plants, to name just a few of their properties. 

Sustainable production

For NIKIN , sustainability plays a central role. This also applies to the design of our articles and their implementation with external manufacturers. Although we have been environmentally conscious since the beginning of NIKIN , we want to constantly improve. That's why we have been working with the Swiss consultancy ecos since 2021. They provide us with expert advice on the sustainability of our products so that we can take a decisive step forward in this area.

Innovative and sustainable materials

We put a lot of time and energy into considering the environment and nature when we plan a new collection. For us, it is essential that the materials have a sustainable approach. For example, they have to be organic, can be disposed of naturally or are already recycled. In the video, Robin, NIKIN co-founder and Head of Production, introduces you to our materials.
