WHY DOES NIKIN NOW SELL
PROTECTIVE MASKS?
At the beginning of the coronavirus crisis, we actively decided against producing and selling protective masks because we didn't want to make a profit from a crisis. However, we were asked almost daily when NIKIN protective masks would be available. Since the demand for masks is still increasing, as more and more mask requirements are being introduced in Switzerland, for example on public transport or in schools, we finally decided to sell reusable and sustainable protective masks after all:
- It is important to us that we do not make a profit from the sale of the masks and offer them at cost price with or without the option of a donation.
- Surveys of our community have shown that there is still a demand for masks.
- By selling masks, we want to make our contribution to the fight against the coronavirus.
- The donations collected will go to Caritas Switzerland's Corona Aid.
- A Tree is planted for every mask sold.
MASK SPECIFICATIONS:
- Made from 50% recycled marine waste (SEAQUAL®YARN) and 50% recycled cotton/polyester mix
- Produced fairly and sustainably in Spain (Europe)
- Washable several times (at least 10 times)
- 98% filtration rate (but is not a medical mask)
- Tested and complies with EU standard EN14683:2019
- Fits every adult, the length of the straps can be adjusted
- A Tree is planted for every mask sold
- Option to donate CHF 5 to Caritas Switzerland's Corona Aid in addition to your purchase
YOU HAVE THE CHOICE:
- Mask with donation: With this option, you buy the mask for an additional CHF 5 and automatically donate CHF 5 to Caritas Switzerland's Corona Aid, while at the same time planting a Tree.
- Mask without donation: With this option you plant a Tree.
THE RIGHT APPLICATION!
It is important that the mask always covers your nose and mouth. Always wash or disinfect your hands before putting on and after taking off the mask. Only touch the mask by the elastic strap. In the video, Sven explains in detail what you should pay attention to when using a mask.
