It is well known that good traditions should be kept. That's why NIKIN donated 10,000 Swiss francs to the BOS Switzerland association at the turn of the year. This association supports the preservation of the last Bornean orangutans.
10,000 Swiss francs from Christmas sales will go to BOS Switzerland. This is only possible because our community has once again shown good taste and environmental awareness by buying NIKIN gifts. What BOS Switzerland does in Borneo
BOS Switzerland has been committed to protecting the last Bornean orangutans since 2004. A large part of this is the preservation and protection of the animals' natural habitat. The tropical rainforest in Borneo. On the one hand, this is done by reforestation and protection of existing rainforests. On the other hand, by showing alternatives to palm oil plantations. For example, the independence of village communities is promoted and an educational programme is set up. Poaching is also to be countered.
