It is well known that good traditions should be kept. That's why NIKIN donated 10,000 Swiss francs to the BOS Switzerland association at the turn of the year. This association supports the preservation of the last Bornean orangutans.
10,000 francs from Christmas sales will go to BOS Switzerland. This is only possible because our community has once again shown taste and environmental awareness and bought NIKIN gifts. What BOS Switzerland is doing in Borneo
BOS Switzerland has been committed to protecting the last Bornean orangutans since 2004. A large part of this is the preservation and protection of the animals' natural habitat. The tropical rainforest in Borneo. On the one hand, this is done through reforestation and the protection of existing rainforests. On the other hand, by demonstrating alternatives to palm oil plantations. For example, village communities are supported in their independence and educational opportunities are established. Poaching is also to be counteracted.
