The NIKIN team is growing and growing.
Following the rapid growth in orders, Robin and Nicholas decided to register NIKIN as a limited company. Thus NIKIN was officially born. As of January 1, 2018, NIKIN was entered in the commercial register. In the meantime, Nicholas' wife Carla Hänny joined the team and took over all financial matters. They also hired their first employee, Jonas. He took over all the logistics - and still works there today.

In the summer of 2018, Nicholas and Robin decided that NIKIN needed a new logo. One Sunday afternoon, they met at Lake Sempach. Robin brought along some logos he had designed himself. The two agreed on the best few and sent them to all their friends via WhatsApp and asked for their opinion. All the logos had a similar style. To add a little variety, they also sent one that was completely different and wasn't actually available for selection. Of all things, the completely different logo was the big winner of the vote and is now the official NIKIN logo and can therefore be found on every product.
The clear winner of the vote was this logo.
In the meantime, NIKIN has hired support for Jonas in the warehouse. Regula takes over the logistics and processes the countless orders together with Jonas. To gain more storage capacity, NIKIN moves to the Wisa-Gloria site in Lenzburg. NIKIN quickly rents more and more space there. The peak of orders is Black Friday (at NIKIN Green Friday ) 2018. Logistics packs more parcels in one day than ever before. The Swiss Post driver who collects the parcels and has his first day at work even has to stack the parcels in the passenger seat.
NIKIN planted two trees for every product sold at Green Friday . Regula and Jonas had their hands full packing the many orders.
The next peak follows shortly after Green Friday . Around Christmas, more and more people want to do something good for the environment and order from NIKIN. As NIKIN still wants to label each tree certificate by hand, they hire extra employees to write the names on the certificates during the Christmas period.

In the meantime, NIKIN has become so well known that one enthusiastic customer has had the logo tattooed.

More and more orders are coming in, which means that NIKIN can employ more and more people. In October 2019, there are 28 people behind NIKIN who work every day to promote global reforestation.
