The family business Danor manufactures our TreeGlasses in Italy. The company has been in existence since 1966 and is currently run by the founder and his three sons. All steps in the manufacturing process take place at Danor. They do not employ any other subcontractors. Danor employs 31 people. Thanks to Italian legislation, they are also obliged to employ a certain number of minorities and people with disabilities. They are happy to comply with this. If the final quality of the sunglasses is not compromised, Danor uses recycled material in its products. Waste is separated in accordance with existing local guidelines. From 2022, Danor says it will no longer be reliant on conventional electricity from the public grid, but will produce its own power via solar panels. Surplus electricity goes next to the local electricity demand.
