Tree by Tree to a greener world

NIKIN plants one Tree for every product sold. Thanks to our partner organization One Tree Planted, these trees grow all over the world wherever they are urgently needed. But NIKIN also wants to give something back to nature in Switzerland. Every year, NIKIN organizes one or more TreePlantingDays in Switzerland.

The next event will take place together with QoQa and SFB (Staatsforstbetrieb Kanton Bern) on Saturday, November 2, from 13:30 to approx. 16:30 in Krauchtal (near Bern). For the second time, the Bern State Forestry Office has agreed to organize an event in the forest with us.

Please note that you have to walk about 20 minutes there and back from the meeting point in Krauchtal to the planting area.

The event costs CHF 5 for adults and children are also welcome & free of charge if accompanied. A small invoice will be sent out shortly before or after the event.

What do you need to participate?  

• Everyone can join in!
• You don't need any previous knowledge.
• The number of places is limited. The rule is: first come, first serve.
• In case of bad weather, you will be informed in advance whether and how the TreePlantingDay will take place. 

To the procedure 

Upon arrival, all participants will be divided into 3 groups. Group 1 will immediately start planting the trees. Group 2 will receive interesting information about the forest from the State Forestry Office of the Canton of Bern. And group 3 will receive a snack and information about QoQa and NIKIN.

The event is organized by NIKIN in collaboration with QoQa and the State Forestry Office of the Canton of Bern.
