Made from 96% naNea, a biodegradable polyester and 4% biodegradable elastane, the TreeShirt Circular ensures that no harmful particles remain in the environment or water during its useful life. If it needs to be disposed of, it can be chemically recycled into the raw materials for new products. The innovative naNea material degrades in seawater to over 93% within 99 days (according to ASTM D6691-17) - without leaving any harmful microparticles or toxic residues. Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold certifies the sustainability of the product and that it contains no harmful substances. The eye-catching orange circle sticker on the hem replaces the usual NIKIN flag label and symbolizes the circular innovation of NIKIN products.

It's simple: as soon as your circular garment - for example a TreeShirt, TreeHoodie or Treeanie - is worn out, you can send it back to us. And we'll pay you for it.
Because you not only get something for the returned material, but also for the fact that you have worn and cared for your product for a long time. You get additional cashback for every full year of use. Spread over 5 years, you receive up to 25% of the original purchase price back, and depending on the product, that's between 10 and 35 francs.
This keeps your item of clothing in the cycle: New products of the same quality are made from the returned material. Good for you and good for the environment.

naNea is a Swiss innovation developed by Manuel Schweizer and the company OceanSafe. It is the world's first synthetic fiber to be awarded Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold certification.
The special thing about naNea is that it can be recycled repeatedly without any loss of quality. Should the material nevertheless end up in the environment, it is biodegradable. naNea has been proven to decompose in a marine environment within 99 days into over 93% natural components such as carbon dioxide, water and biomass in accordance with ASTM D 6691-17. No harmful microparticles or toxic substances are released in the process.
This innovative fiber therefore not only meets the highest environmental standards, but also actively contributes to reducing textile waste and supporting a sustainable circular economy.
