We have already planted over 2 million trees. What does that mean? Take a look!
2 MILLION TREES: NIKIN REACHES ANOTHER MILESTONE
We did it! Since its founding in 2016, NIKIN has planted one Tree tree for every product sold. Within just over six years, we have planted 2 million (!) trees together with our terrific community. A milestone worthy of a tattoo and a reason to celebrate.
With the achievement of this long-awaited number of trees, we look optimistically into a greener future. Because: 2 million are just the beginning. According to our credo #treebytree, we will continue to contribute to global reforestation in the future.
#TREEBYTREE TO AN UNFATHOMABLE NUMBER
The number of 2 million trees is an impressive amount that even we cannot really grasp yet!
After all, a whole 16,187 hectares or 161.8 km2 correspond to this number of trees.
With this area, for example, 22,690 standard soccer fields could be planted. Our 2 million trees also produce enough oxygen for 3-4 million people. The reduction ofCO2 emissions is also impressive: 2 million trees absorb a total of about 43.4 million kg ofCO2 per year. Unbelievable, but true!
WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Every time you buy a garment from NIKIN, we plant a tree. So you can dress well and do something good for the environment at the same time. At the same time, we go one step further next. We are working with local communities and organizations to ensure that the trees will continue to thrive in the future.
