More than espresso or macchiato: We also use coffee in clothes

Are you more of a “Mi amore , espresso macchiato , for favore “- or the “ That's that me espresso “type? Whether in the ear or on the tongue – for many the day only really starts with the first cup of coffee, home-brewed or to go . Coffee accompanies us, always and everywhere. And that's exactly why we at NIKIN asked ourselves: Why not include it in our clothes too? Because coffee is more than just a luxury item.

From coffee grounds to statement: The TreeShirt Coffee Carbon

For us, sustainability begins with the material. We like to think outside the box and use raw materials that, at first glance, don't have much to do with clothing. This also applies to coffee, or rather, to coffee grounds. Our TreeShirt Coffee combined Organic cotton with viscose from carbonated coffee groundsThe result: a fabric that is breathable, odor-resistant, and pleasantly soft—perfect for anyone who is active and outdoors.

Carbonated coffee grounds are actually a waste product, but by recycling them, something completely new can be created. Practical, convenient, and useful. True to our motto: Take Action.

Coffee in your shirt? We have even more to offer

If you're going to have coffee, then have it properly. Wearing the stimulant just in your shirt wasn't enough for us; we wanted to drink it too. That's why we started with the Caffè Uno roastery from Baden our first own NIKIN Coffee developed. We have already taken a trip into the world of drinks with our Forest Ale started a few years ago. We now remain true to this principle with our coffee: The high-quality beans from Brazil were fermented in spruce needles, which gives the end result a fine, woody, earthy taste gives.

There's also the matching NIKIN Bialetti coffee maker , so you can make coffee at home or while camping. This is how you can easily conjure up your own NIKIN -Coffee:

  1. Grind beans: medium fine, like coarse sand
  2. Fill with water: just below the valve
  3. Pour in coffee: spread loosely, do not press down
  4. Heat the cooker: over medium heat, leave the lid open
  5. As soon as it gurgles, turn down the heat – done!
  6. Moment of enjoyment: Stir, pour, enjoy

The package of NIKIN x caffè UNO coffee and Bialetti is now available in our NIKIN Buy a TreeHouse in Aarau.
