In the first part of the blog series you saw how Nicholas and Robin ordered the first 60 Treeanies and sold them immediately. Shortly afterwards, hundreds of people ordered the caps. Nobody expected such a rush. The two sometimes worked night shifts until 3 a.m. and went back to their real jobs in the morning. Accordingly, the two urgently needed energetic support. Robin therefore involved his whole family in the small business without further ado. The Gnehm family supported NIKIN wherever they could. Robin's parents sewed the labels onto the treeanies.

As Nicholas and Robin were both active scouts, the two mainly wanted to plant trees with their project. That so many people wanted to join the global reforestation was an unexpected - but very, very positive - surprise. Robin's two brothers Jeffrey and Lester also helped out in the young enterprise. Lester, who is actually employed 100% as a gardener, took over the logistics and sent out the NIKIN packages after work.

Jeffrey took over communications from NIKIN and continues to do so today.
It was clear that NIKIN needed its own camp quickly. So NIKIN moved into a warehouse in Seengen, which had a small greengrocer's shop in front of it.
This small house in Seengen was the first official NIKIN camp.
After work, the NIKIN employees packed the products and delivered them personally to Seenger Post. The demand for NIKIN products continued to grow rapidly. Quickly, NIKIN blocked the Seenger Post for half an hour every evening. It took time until all the parcels were posted.
